Meet Samantha & Alex
Samantha is a former educator with an undergraduate degree in Geography and a minor in History, and has a master’s in education. Long before becoming a travel advisor, she was passionate about understanding the world—its cultures, landscapes, and stories—and helping others see how places connect to the bigger picture. Travel has always felt like an extension of her classroom: learning through experience, curiosity, and discovery.
That background plays a huge role in how trips are planned at Never Just A Trip Travel. Every destination has a story, and Samantha loves helping travelers experience places in a way that feels meaningful—not rushed or generic.
Alex has proudly served in the United States Air Force since graduating high school and will be retiring in the coming years. His military career and Dominican roots have shaped a deep appreciation for travel, adaptability, and seeing the world from different perspectives. As retirement approaches, the vision for this business grew even stronger—creating a life where travel is intentional, flexible, and centered around experiences that matter.
Together, Samantha and Alex built Never Just A Trip Travel with a shared dream: to travel more, slow down, and help others do the same.

We’re a blended family with four kids—two each, and some of our favorite memories have been made traveling together. From road trips and weekend getaways to bigger adventures, we believe travel creates core memories—the kind that shape kids, strengthen families, and stay with you long after the bags are unpacked.
